We offer opportunities for both short- and long-term missionaries.

 

Join us on a life-changing trip, where vulnerable families are empowered to raise themselves out of poverty and you get to be part of that transformation. On each trip, we step directly into the stories of families who are journeying through BoK’s family empowerment, child development, and feeding programs. Your presence will help cultivate hope where it is taking root and remind families that they are seen, valued, and not alone. You will share the love of Jesus in tangible and powerful ways, encouraging parents, playing with children, serving meals, and leading Sunday School. You’ll pray with families in their homes, witness the fruit of BoK’s programs by visiting thriving small businesses, and spend meaningful time strengthening and encouraging the dedicated BoK Ethiopia staff who walk alongside these families every day. This is more than a trip it is an opportunity to bring hope, speak life, and walk in faith together as God continues His work through Because of Kennedy.

Missionary Support – The Gleason Family

The Gleason’s were called to fight for the orphaned and vulnerable in Ethiopia after the loss of their daughter Kennedy, an orphan from Ethiopia they were trying to adopt. The Gleason’s travel quarterly to Ethiopia to be actively involved with Because of Kennedy’s ongoing work there.  Please consider supporting these vital trips to help make a lasting impact.
