FEEDING PROGRAM
In the communities we work, many families struggle to feed their children. During a community home visit, a grandmother shared with us that she stopped sending her granddaughter to school because she could not send her with lunch. There are many families in the community struggling to feed their children and BoK assists these families with this burden.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Our Child Development program aims to provide short-term interventions to improve physical, cognitive, social-emotional, & ethical development for vulnerable children living in extreme poverty. This program provides support for school fees, school supplies, and supplemental tutoring to improve academic performance. BoK provides social activities, training, mentoring and counseling for the children.

Family Empowerment
Our Family Empowerment program is a short-term intervention (e.g., 3 years) that meets the emergency needs of families in poverty, while equipping the women and members of the families with the skills and knowledge to raise themselves out of poverty, resulting in breaking the cycle of dependency and creating a path for long-term sustainable success.
