Run/Walk Event
Fundraise for BoK when you join and register for a run/walk event of your choice.
Send an email to Because of Kennedy at info@becauseofkennedy.org telling us:
1. A picture that we can put on our website.
2. A brief description (~50 words) of
“Why I am supporting Because of Kennedy?”
3. A brief description (~50 words)
“How I am going to Move for Kennedy?”
4. A brief description ((~50 words) of
“What my support will do?”
5. Information about the event (Name of Event, Date, Distance)
6. Your fundraising goal.
7. Your t-shirt size.
8. Your contact information including mailing address.
Because of Kennedy will then create a brief bio about you with a link for donations on our website, email you a sample message to send to donors about our cause and how they can make a donation on our website, and send you a BoK running shirt for you to wear during the event.
Virtual Event
Fundraise for BoK on your own time at your own pace. A virtual event can be a run, walk, or other physical activity from any location you choose. Track your results as you run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or event while at work. It may be a one time one-time walk or a mileage/steps you are working towards for a week.

1. That you would like to support Because of Kennedy
2. The date of the event
3. Information about the event
4. Set a fundraising goal
5. Picture of yourself
6. Why you are supporting BoK (1-2 sentences)
7. Your t-shirt size
8. Your contact information including mailing address
Because of Kennedy will then create a brief bio about you with a link for donations on our website, email you a sample message to send to donors about our cause and how they can make a donation on our website, and send you a BoK running shirt for you to wear during the event.
Team Event
Be creative and organize your own a run/walk event to support BoK (it can be as big as a community event or as small as a neighborhood walk).
Ask each participant to set a fundraising goal,

5. Contact information (including mailing addresses) and
6. T-shirt size for each participant
7. Why you are building this Team in a Box for Because of Kennedy
Because of Kennedy will then create a brief bio about your team with a links for each participant to receive donations. We will send you a sample message to send to donors about our cause and how they can make a donation on our website. We will also send a BoK running shirt for each participant to wear during the event.
