FEEDING PROGRAM
In the communities we work, many families struggle to feed their children. During a community home visit, a grandmother shared with us that she stopped sending her granddaughter to school because she could not send her with lunch. There are many families in the community struggling to feed their children and BoK assists these families with this burden.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Our Child Development program is designed to provide, short-term interventions that improve the physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and ethical growth of children living in extreme poverty. The program offers support for school fees, educational materials, and supplemental tutoring to improve academic achievement. Additionally, Because of Kennedy provides children with social activities, skill-building training, mentoring, and counseling to foster overall well-being and personal growth.

Family Empowerment
Our Family Empowerment program is a short-term intervention (e.g., 3 years) that meets the emergency needs of families in poverty, while equipping the women and members of the families with the skills and knowledge to raise themselves out of poverty, resulting in breaking the cycle of dependency and creating a path for long-term sustainable success.
