We don’t just provide aid. We walk alongside families on a structured, three-year journey. Decreasing support gradually as they grow stronger, and celebrate when they no longer need us.

THE 3-YEAR FAMILY JOURNEY

A structured path from crisis to self-sufficiency where graduation is the goal from day one.

YEAR 1:

BUILDING THE FOUNDATION

  • Literacy training for women who cannot read or write
  • Medical insurance and first annual physical
  • Identity in Christ curriculum throughout the program
  • Begin weekly savings requirement
  • BoK matches savings
  • Business plan completed by end of year
  • Children enrolled in school with resources to thrive
  • 5 meals per week at school

YEAR 2:

LAUNCHING & GROWING

  • Business launched — BoK matches savings to fund startup
  • 4 meals per week — support begins to taper
  • Business troubleshooting and coaching begins
  • Businesses are being launched
  • We see confidence in action
  • Moms are reading
  • Children are thriving

YEAR 3 + GRADUATION:

STANDING STRONG

  • Business locally sustainable
  • 3 meals per week — near full independence
  • Savings match fully reduced
  • Family graduates — self-sufficient!
  • Next family begins — the cycle of transformation continues
  • Family life is changing
  • Household finances are managed differently
  • Saving is now a regular part of life
  • Children have an example of courage, hard work, and hope

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE

Families who enter our program typically arrive in crisis — unable to read or write, with little access to healthcare, and no path to economic independence.


  • If a woman cannot read or write, she begins literacy class immediately — moving from fingerprint signatures to full literacy
  • Every family receives medical insurance and is walked to the doctor for the first time
  • Women receive curriculum rooted in who God says they are — building identity alongside practical skills
  • Families are required to save weekly; BoK matches savings to fund their business startup
  • By end of Year 1: every family has a completed business plan
  • By end of Year 2: a locally sustainable business is operating
  • Support decreases year by year — meals, matching, and services taper as independence grows
  • At graduation, the family is self-sufficient — and the next family begins
